MEET OUR EXECUTIVE BOARD

NATALIA MAYA
President
Hello HOSA members! My name is Natalia Maya, and I am thrilled to serve as your President this year. I am currently a third-year student, majoring in Health Science with a minor in Health Administration on a Pre-Medical Track.
My journey with HOSA began in the 6th grade, and since then, I’ve had the honor of serving as President and Secretary of my high school chapter. Now, I’m excited to lead our university chapter as President. Through HOSA, I’ve had the opportunity to compete in the CPR/First Aid competition at the regional, state, and international levels, which has equipped me with invaluable skills and unforgettable experiences.
I am passionate about research and am currently contributing to diabetes research within the UF AI Scholars Program, focusing on deep learning models for better diagnosis and treatment of T1D. Beyond HOSA, I founded the Children's Future Association, a statewide initiative that connects University students with children in underserved communities through mentorship programs. When I’m not in Library West, I enjoy going on fun adventures with friends and family
I am excited about what we will achieve together this year!
AUBREE ROBINSON
Vice President
Hey all! My name is Aubree Robinson, and I am a third year Psychology (BCN) Major and Disabilities in Society Minor on the Pre-Med track. I'm honored to give back to an organization that means so much to me! Since high school, I've made it to states for three consecutive years, and I've been able to attend internationals twice in my lifetime (so far)! Being involved in HOSA inspired me to take a leap of faith and change my study from pre-nursing to pre-med. Outside of HOSA, you can find me involved in Dance Marathon at the University of Florida and Nurses Leading Change. I even work as a Resident Assistant and as a Personal Care Assistant for students with disabilities! I'm so excited to share all that HOSA has to offer with you this year!

SHARON BRIDGEMOHAN
Secratary
Hi members!! My name is Sharon Bridgemohan, and I am a third year majoring in Biology and minoring in Public Health. I am currently on the Pre-Medical track as well!
I joined HOSA in 9th grade, and had the opportunity of serving as the Vice President in high school, and now as the Secretary for the collegiate chapter! HOSA introduced me to different health related topics (such as Pathophysiology, Creative Problem Solving, and Occupational Therapy), which has prepared me with critical skills and knowledge for the future.
I am currently contributing to Thyroid research and even presented at the American Thyroid Association conference this past October! I also work as a Monitor Support Tech at Shands and work closely with PTs/OTs to ambulate patients as well as monitoring telemetry. When I’m not studying or working, you can find me at cafes with friends, going to concerts, or playing video games! :)
I look forward to working with you all this year & wish you all luck on your pre-health journey!
Najli Babar
Director of Public Relations
Hey y'all! My name is Najli Babar and I am a second year Microbiology and Cell Sciences major with a minor in Anthropology on the pre-med track.

I have been in HOSA since sophomore year of high school and have loved it so much! I have been able to compete in events that I am interested in, such as pathophysiology, persuasive writing & speech, and extemporaneous writing! HOSA has been a way for me to explore aspects of healthcare I had never thought of before, and have given me access to so many connections and insights into the pre-health field. My favorite memories from HOSA definitely are the times we go to competitions, whether it be carpooling early in the morning to the regional competitions or going places during our downtime.

Outside of HOSA I love to go out to Boba places, have random late night talks in the car with friends, writing, and baking! I hope I can help you guys find amazing opportunities inside HOSA and beyond. Can't wait to meet you guys :)).

Amy Laser
Membership Enrichment Coordinator
I'm a second year biology major with a minor in German. I joined HOSA in high school because I had a strong interest in healthcare, and HOSA allowed me to learn more about the medical field and gain experience. It also allowed me to build on my healthcare knowledge in a fun, competitive way. My favorite HOSA memory has been going to states every ear and meeting so many amazing people!
Mary Kate Reynolds
Treasurer
My name is Mary Kate, and I’m a second year Biotechnology major on a pre-health track! This is my fifth year as a HOSA member, and I love being able to collaborate with students with similar passions in a fun and educational environment. I’ve made many great memories at conferences over the years, and I am honored to serve UF HOSA to improve the experience for Postsecondary students.
