HOSA's mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in health science education and biomedical science programs or have interests in pursuing careers in health professions. HOSA is 100% health care!
At the University of Florida in particular, we strive to foster a community where pre-health students can gain insight and connections into the fields they intend on pursuing. From competing at the regional, state, and international level in a variety of health-related categories to workshops and speaker events with healthcare professionals. UF HOSA provides a robust environment for pre-health students to thrive and build their careers!
